We are seeking an experienced, talented and enthusiastic teacher with excellent interpersonal skills to work in the Amber Valley & Erewash Support Centre, Kirk Hallam Site.

The Support Centre is for pupils who have been, or who are at risk of being, permanently excluded from mainstream school. The successful applicant would be based at Kirk Hallam Support Centre.

The successful candidate will inspire, motivate, challenge and support pupils to reach their full potential across a broad and balanced curriculum. A good understanding of their academic, behavioural, social and emotional needs and difficulties is an essential quality.

This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for applicants who have good knowledge and experience of working with disaffected pupils in a primary school setting.

Bennerley Fields is an age 2-16 special school, for 88 pupils with a range of learning difficulties and diverse needs. The school has specialist status for communication and interaction, which underpins all teaching and learning.

Formed by a group of like-minded school leaders in August 2018, the MAT is currently responsible for the education and care of approximately 1,200 students and employs around 750 staff. The total revenue budget for the MAT is approximately £23 million and plans are in place to expand further. We wish to grow further to fulfil our vision to become a centre of excellence for SEND and Alternative Provision.

We are looking for an excellent School Business Manager to successfully manage the business administration of the Academy and to ensure the business management function supports the educational aims of the Academy and the MAT. The successful candidate will have proven Business management experience in a senior or middle management position, Experience of working with or for a school, academy or in a business support function. You will also have experience of managing budgets, financial systems, accounts and line management of staff teams and projects.

We are eager to appoint a suitably qualified nurse to join our team at Peak School. Based at High Peak, Peak School caters for pupils with profound, severe and moderate learning disabilities, from 2 years of age (within our integrated nursery) up to 19 years of age (in our post-16 facility). Working alongside and independently of our current school nurse, you will be responsible for the direct delivery of nursing care to our pupils on a day to day basis as well as dealing with medical emergencies as they arise. Experience of working within a similar environment would be advantageous.

The ideal candidate will hold essential qualifications which, for this post, are RSCN or RN Learning Disabilities.
